We can provide swingset governors, meaning you will always have one running that has been overhauled and, when the next overhaul is due, you will have an exchange unit ready to swap out, avoiding costly downtime.

Overhaul & Repair

All diesel engine governors that come to Bartech to overhaul include: complete dismantle, chemical clean and inspection.

A full report is made with itemised spares requirement and only with the customer’s approval will we reassemble, calibrate and test the governor.

Our diesel engine governor overhauls and repairs are performed in dedicated dust-free governor bays and are subject to strict quality inspection.

In-House Test Certificates issued with every overhaul and repair.

Testing

When you only need your diesel engine governor checking for performance, or resetting to original factory settings.

If you are having engine control problems and want to check the governor, this can help isolate any problems.

Service

We offer 24-hour 365-day service cover. This ranges from fault diagnosis and adjustments to installation visits on site.

We have the ability to re-engineer alternative diesel engine governor parts in order to increase efficiency and overcome delivery schedules that may extend expensive downtime.

Complete Governors

We can offer new or reconditioned governors, complete with a 12-month Bartech warranty.

Reconditioned governors are built to new specifications using new seals, gaskets, bearings, springs etc. Final assemblies are fully tested In-House.

Where possible, service exchange units will be supplied in order to reduce expensive downtime.
