Saved a client over £2.5million when their Mitsubishi fire pump became extensively damaged through overheating.
No exchange engine could be found and they were quoted £3 million by another supplier to replace the pump.
After contacting Bartech, we located a suitable donor engine, converting it to match the rig’s specification, and successfully installed it for a fraction of the cost.
Client asked Bartech to carry out a survey on a Detroit engine used as a gas turbine starter.
The engine had extensive damage requiring major overhaul or replacement.
We utilised our pool of engineers to convert and install a replacement engine, using genuine spares with a lead time 2 weeks quicker than through any other supplier, so the generator was up and running in the shortest time possible.
A client who had been let down by another diesel engine company contacted Bartech.
Our service engineer was on-site rapidly to align and commission a Cat 3412 engine following the change out of the fire pump.
Despite the delays caused by the failure of their first contractor, Bartech’s quick response and onsite expertise enabled the client to complete their project on time.
